I first made this bracelet as a commission for someone who wanted a gift for a friend who was going through a bit of a tough time.  The simple message of 'Hope' is hand stamped on to a charm made from fine silver and the semi-precious beads are Rhodonite.  Rhodon is Greek for Rose and this stone is said to be an emotional balancer, grounding energy and achieving one's highest potential.

Of course I can personalise a fine silver charm according to a customer's wishes so do let me know if you have a particular message you wish to convey.

All my jewellery comes packaged in gift boxes with a complimentary polishing cloth.  This is to help ensure that your item is kept in pristine condition. Gift bags are also available so do let me know if you would like one.

Care information

How to take care of your Jewellery

Each piece of jewellery is special and a few simple steps will ensure that it stays in pristine condition.

Fine Silver is made of 99.9% silver and it is less prone to tarnish.  Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver and can tarnish over time but is easily polished to a shiny finish again.

Preventative care

Wear your jewellery!
You can avoid tarnish by wearing your jewellery often. The oils in your skin will “clean” the silver and keep it looking shiny.

Avoid exposure
Contact with household chemicals will cause corrosion and tarnish — so it’s a good idea to remove silver jewellery when doing household chores. Direct sunlight also causes silver to tarnish, so be sure to take off your silver jewellery before you go swimming and sunbathing.

When dressing, add your jewellery as a final touch
Lotions, cosmetics, hair spray and hair products, and perfumes are also “enemies” of silver and will accelerate tarnishing. There’s a reason generations of women have been getting dressed with jewellery last, as a finishing touch!

Storage

As exposure to air tarnishes it, storing silver in the gift box with anti-tarnish strips is a great preventative measure. to minimise tarnish.

Polishing
Simply polishing your silver works well when the tarnishing is not too severe. Each piece of jewellery comes with a small polishing cloth.
